Chips Family Dining

So we just had lunch and all of the food was absolutely delicious! I got the Queso Burger and it is fabulous! It is on a jalapeno bun that tastes like homemade bread! French fries are delicious! My husband had hamburger steak and mashed potatoes and it was delicious too!

Incredibly cool establishment! Great staff, very cool location and their mission is amazing.Counter service with table delivery. The place was packed, yet the food came out hot and quick.Their onion rings are phenomenal!Their burgers are heavenly, and the staff was so pleasant.If you're wanting a great low key local dining experience, come on by and sit for while. You'll leave full of food and blessed.

The best American Food, fresh and tasty. Love their menu. Remind me of my beautiful childhood.

I went to Chip's today at 1 pm for lunch. Chip's is in the heart of Lake Jackson and is in the building that used to be occupied by the Red Top burger joint. The interior of the restaurant is inviting and warm. I was immediately greeted at the counter. I ordered the catfish plate and a glass of water. When the employee checked me out, she gave me the senior discount without me asking. What the heck?? Do I look old or something? Hahaha!The tables were mostly full and I recognized some friends at a nearby table.My plate arrived within 10 minutes and I was very, very surprised at the quality and deliciousness of my food.The fried catfish was prepared in a light corn meal batter with perfect seasonings. They were thin, crisp, and delightful to eat. I quickly polished off all three filets with the tartar sauce. The crinkle cut fries were normal restaurant fries but cooked well and still crisp. An iceberg lettuce salad with chopped tomatoes was also served with ranch dressing. Finally, a couple of pieces of Texas toast ensured I walked out of the store knowing I would not need to eat for 24 hours!I love this restaurant. In Lake Jackson, more often than not, I've been disappointed by service or prices. Chip's does everything right.

Came here on a Monday when they first opened for the day. The burger and tots were one of my favorite kinds of burgers. Diner style with the delicious crispy bits on the pattie, veggies were fresh and tomatoes were even salted. Everything was perfect and I would recommend the burger to anyone who needs that beef fix!

Very quaint and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly and I personally enjoyed the dry deadpan humor. Food was good, as a family of 5 the wait time was much lower than expected. The house made jalapeño sour dough bread was very good, wish I could have taken a whole pack of the bun alone home. All in all a great experience for the family.

Super delicious food! I got the special of the day - being fried fish- which was quite tasty! The fries were average, but there’s nothing wrong with that! I ordered to-go and the staff was friendly and quick with the food. I also ordered a cookie in which they had wrapped in single packages on the counter; it was the best cookie I had in awhile!! Definitely will return.

Janice locally owned business that has delicious food. Mostly baskets and plates of burgers and catfish but they are well made, juicy, never greasy.The milk shakes are good and they make a real banana Sundae
